About Us
The Church of the American Ceylon Mission has roots in the work of
early missionaries in the Jaffna peninsula of Sri Lanka from 1813 onward.
These were missionaries sent by the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign
Missions(ABCFM), the predecessor body of UCC mission that celebrates over 200 years of
global mission, and a predecessor body of todayβs Global Ministries.

Vanni Region Childrenβs Rally 2024: Celebrating Faith in an Ever-Changing World
The Vanni Region Childrenβs Rally 2024 took place on Saturday, September 17, at 9:00 AM at St. Paulβs Church, Murukandy, under the theme βUnchanging God in an Ever-Changing Worldβ (Ephesians 13:7). The event began with an inspiring sermon by Miss M. Kamsika, setting the tone for a day of faith, fellowship, and celebration of Godβs steadfastness.

Vanni Region Youth Committee Ignites Competitive Spirit with itsβ First Annual Sports Festival
On June 29th, 2024, the Vanni Region Youth Committee hosted its first-ever Sports Festival at the Murukandy Inthupuram Play Ground under the guidance of Rev. T. Susenthan, Vanni Regional Youth Coordinator, the event brought together enthusiastic youth from Akkarayan, Konavail, Maravankulam, Murukandy, Jeyapauram, and Kilinochchi churches.

ONE MORE SEMINARY GRADUATE EMBARKS IN THE JOURNEY OF PASTORAL MINISTRY.
Bro. Pichchai John Prakash, Dip. C. S (Serampore), B.Th. (Serampore), at a special service received the Dip. in Theological Studies of the Seminary after completing four years as a resident theological student. He hails from the Suthanthirapuram CACM church in the Vanni Region. He has been commissioned at the Uduvil CACM on Pentecost Sunday, the 19th of May 2024 at 3.00 pm. People from various congregations including those from his hometown and his home church, about 160 in number, attended the service.
