It is with deep sadness that we, the family of the Church of the American Ceylon Mission (CACM), extend our heartfelt condolences to the immediate family of the late Bishop Kenneth Fernando and to the entire Anglican Communion.
Bishop Kenneth Fernando was a deeply respected and beloved friend of our church. His warmth, wisdom, and commitment to unity left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him. We fondly remember his visits—often accompanied by his dear wife, Mrs. Chithira Fernando—which were always marked by grace and genuine fellowship.
We give thanks for his life and ministry, and we join you in mourning his loss while celebrating the remarkable legacy he leaves behind.
May his soul rest in peace and may God’s comfort be with all who grieve his passing.
