The Central Religious Board of the Church of the American Ceylon Mission (CACM) successfully hosted the Grand Finale of the Bible Quiz Competition on Saturday, October 26, 2024. The event took place at The Christian Theological Seminary in Sri Lanka, bringing together the champion teams from the regional Bible quiz competitions. Teams from the Vanni, Jaffna, East, and Colombo-Upcountry regions qualified to participate in this highly anticipated final competition.
The program began with a meaningful opening service conducted by the Sunday School children of the Udapusalaava Church. Bible readings were presented by children from the Vavuniya, Navaly, and Manipay Sunday Schools, while the Periyaneelavanai Church children enriched the occasion with a heartfelt special song.
The sermon was delivered by the President of the CACM, Rev. A. S. Thevagunananthan, who inspired the audience with his message. The competition ran from morning until evening, as the teams showcased their biblical knowledge and quick thinking.
At the conclusion of the event, trophies and prizes were awarded to the victorious teams, celebrating their dedication and achievements.

அமெரிக்கன் சிலோன் மிசன் திருச்சபையின் சமயக்கல்விக் குழுவின் ஒழுங்கமைப்பில் பிராந்தியத் திருச்சபைகளிற்கு இடையிலான மகா சுற்று வேதாகமப் புதிர்போட்டி 26.10.2024 சனிக்கிழமை அன்று மருதனார்மடம் கிறிஸ்தவ சேவ ஆச்சிரமத்தில் நடைபெற்றது. பிராந்திய மட்ட பிள்ளைகள் விழாவில் வேதாகமப் புதிர்போட்டியில் வெற்றி பெற்ற திருச்சபை அணிகள் இந்த மகாசுற்று வேதாகமப் புதிர்போட்டியில் பங்குபற்றின. இம்முறை யாழ், வன்னி, கிழக்கு மற்றும் கொழும்பு மலையகம் என நான்கு பிராந்தியங்களின் திருச்சபைப் பிள்ளைகளும் பங்குபற்றினர்.
உடப்புசலாவைத் திருச்சபை ஞாயிறு பாடசாலைப் பிள்ளைகள் ஆரம்ப வழிபாட்டை நடாத்தினார்கள். திருமறைப் பாடங்களை வவுனியா, மானிப்பாய், நவாலி திருச்சபைப் பிள்ளைகள் வாசித்தனர். விசேடபாடல் பெரிய நீலாவனைத் திருச்சபைப் பிள்ளைகளால் பாடப்பட்டது. திருச்சபைத் தலைவர் அருட்பணி. ஏ.எஸ். தேவகுணானந்தன் அவர்கள் இறை செய்தியை வழங்கினார். தொடர்ந்து புதிர் போட்டிகள் மாலை வரை நடைபெற்றன. நிகழ்வின் இறுதியில் வெற்றியீட்டிய திருச்சபைகளிற்கு கேடயங்களும், பரிசில்களும் வழங்கப்பட்டன.
